The chopper industry has seen a recent rise in the mixing of celebrities and choppers. In 2008 Cheetah Choppers, in partnership with Savage Cycles, launched a line Collectors Edition celebrity choppers.

The first chopper in the series featured Denver Cowboys Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway. Only 20 motorcycles in the series were produced with 18 being made available to the public.
